How to Edit the Text on the Home Page (Divi)
1. Log in to WordPress
Go to https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin.
Log in with your username and password.
2. Open the Home Page with Divi
You can do this in two ways:
Option A: From the front of the site (recommended)
Visit your website homepage (just go to your domain in a browser).
Make sure you’re logged in (you should see the top admin bar).
In the top admin bar, click “Enable Visual Builder”.
Option B: From the Dashboard
Go to Pages → All Pages in the left menu.
Find the page labeled Home or the one marked as Front Page.
Hover over it and click Edit (then click Use Divi Builder or Build On The Front End if needed).
3. Edit the Text with Divi Visual Builder
Once the Divi Visual Builder is loaded on the homepage:
Hover over the text you want to change.
You’ll see blue (Section), green (Row), and grey (Module) outlines.
When you hover over the exact text element, look for a grey module toolbar.
Click the gear icon (Module Settings).
In the popup, under the Content tab, you’ll see the text field:
For headings: usually a Text, Blurb, or Fullwidth Header module.
For paragraphs: typically a Text module.
Change the text as needed.
4. Save Your Changes
Click the green checkmark at the bottom right of the module popup to save the module.
When you’re done with all edits, click the purple circle at the bottom of the screen to open Divi’s toolbar.
Click the green “Save” button (disk icon).
Exit the Visual Builder:
Click “Exit Visual Builder” in the top admin bar.
Refresh the page to confirm the changes are live.
