The Atrium Gallery

The Atrium Gallery has a beautiful range of fine art and artisan craft work, there is something for everyone and a wonderful place for people to visit. The Atrium Gallery is open 7 days 10am – 4pm and features artists of wide and varied mediums.

You are also welcome to join in for lots of fun on the Open Days, held on the 4th Saturday of every month 10am – 4pm. A chance to enjoy chatting to the Atrium artists as they create and demonstrate their talents and learn some of their secrets. Relax and enjoy the garden, morning and afternoon tea is also available.

Buderim Craft Cottage is a not-for-profit organisation, established in 1967 by a small group of keen artists and crafts people to encourage and promote the arts and crafts.

Today its members number over 300, working across 12 art and craft disciplines:

Pottery and sculpture, Multi Mixed Media, Painting, Silversmithing, Patchwork, Fabric Art and Surface Design, Yarns and Fibres, Porcelain Painting, Life Drawing, Machine Embroidery, Calligraphy, Needlework and Lace.

The Atrium members consist of accomplished artists of wide and varied mediums from many of these groups.

CARNIVAL is the theme for the Fabric Art & Surface Design group of Buderim Craft Cottage textile exhibition
The theme will be reflected in the wearable art and other textile art on display– beautiful textiles, gorgeous colours and original designs not only for display but for sale to enhance your wardrobe or your home. You will see hand dyed silks, wools, cottons, machine and hand embroidery, nuno and traditional felting, original and creative designs and textiles, jewellery incorporating textile techniques and art for the home. Talk to the artists and discover how these amazing textiles have been created.
A feature of the exhibition will be handcrafted carnival masks made by group members. The exhibition will open between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. Entry is by gold coin donation.
