The Views from Buderim Mountain

An unavoidable characteristic of being situated on a mountain is the vista . . . and Buderim has quite a few to speak of . . .

Above image is taken from Coolum View Terrace on the North Eastern Slope.

From the Lions Park on Burnett Street, you will enjoy a magnificient panorama from East to south to west.

The park currently undergoing a major reconstruction, so the image above may be a little out of date.
Still . . . this will always be a beautiful spot to sit quietly with your loved ones.

From several vantage points you can look across to the Glasshouse Mountains, Blackall Range, North to Coolum and of course the sweeping Pacific Ocean.

The above view is from the top of Jones Road looking North.

Most of the year it is actually a few degrees cooler on top of Buderim than down in Maroochydore. That's another advantage of height.

Looking East from the road leading to Foote Sanctuary and Rim Road, you will see a vista of Maroochydore such as this.

A storm sweeps the Coast below, you can just make out a giant rainbow covering this southeasterly aspect from Lions Park
