Buderim Carols by Candlelight

hosted by Saint Mark's Anglican Church
in association with the BWMCA

Well, the rain rolled in and cut the event short . . .

For the first time in around 10 years, the weather did not work with us on the night. Sadly the event was shortened due to the rain falling steadily.

The Hot Ginger Choir were real troopers, standing on stage with beautiful renditions of our most loved Carols. Even after the pianist abandoned his post, they sang without instrumental backing.

Santa made an appearance and wished the kids a Merry Christmas and good night.

Thank you to the many people who braved the dodgy conditions to see the Carols by Candlelight in 2009. You are the reason that so many volunteers come together each year to make this much-loved event on Buderim a possibility.

The event will be back and strong in 2010

The audience is brought in at appropriate times to join in the singing and generally have fun!

This will create a unique programme of seasonal fun and traditional caroling.

The Buderim Scout group will be cooking up sausages for dinner.

Be a part of the crowd in 2010 - bring your picnic blankets, for a wonderful family evening of entertainment and carol singing.

It's a Buderim Family Tradition - come along and have a great time!

In addition to St. Marks Anglican Church in Main Street Buderim and the Buderim War Memorial Community Association (BWMCA), the Buderim Carols would not be possible without the support of these community-minded businesses.

Please support these champions of our Buderim Community in business whenever you can!
