Buderim Community Carols by Candlelight

For several years a spectacular Carols by Candlelight event has been held in Buderim.
This year, the much loved event is run by three key locals and a team of behind-the scene people, in conjunction with Saint Mark's Anglican Church in Buderim, who stepped in after the Chamber of Commerce decided not to actively support the event.
Buderim Carols by Candleight was held on the Sunday evening of December 16th at 6:30pm, in the Buderim Mountain School Oval, set against the beautiful pine forest backdrop. Under a gorgeous starry sky the community came together to be entertained and sing seasonal songs!
A unique story qas told on stage by "Totally Entertaining", taking the crowd on a journey of Christmas discovery.
The audience is brought in at appropriate times to sing Carols and have fun with the players!
This creates a unique programme of seasonal fun and traditional caroling.
Be a part of the crowd in 2008- bring your picnic blankets, for a wonderful family evening of entertainment and carol singing.

It's a Buderim Family Tradition - come along and have a great time!
This event would not be possible without the financial assisstance of Maroochy Shire Councillors, Zrinka Johnston, Ted Hungerford and Christian Dickson ~ Joyce Mayne Electrical and Computers in Chancellor Park ~ BNC Financial Services Buderim and Acclaim Apprentices and Trainees.
Plus the organisers are very grateful for the in-kind support from Buderim Chronicle and Weekly, Sunshine FM, Profile Print Buderim and Red Lid Advertising and Design.
