The Buderim Dog Park |

The Buderim Dog Park is a purpose built fenced area set up specifically for dogs and their owners.
Well for the dogs really!
You will find it on the corner of Mooloolaba Road and Syd Lingard Drive, near the motorway. Just check the map at the bottom of this page.

There is a substantial park area with lots of room for running, jumping, sniffing, digging, barking and playing like dog really wants to!

If you have a small dog and are worried about interaction with the big boys, there is another fenced area just for the smaller canines. |

Covered gazebo-styled seating areas are heaven sent on hot Summer days, providing relief for four and two legged animals.

It was a chilly day but the first ever Dog's Breakfast charity event was held in aid of the Guide Dogs Queensland.
The event was the inspired brainchild of Buderim local, Karen Chellingworth.

Local dog owners were invited to bring their best mate to enjoy a brekky snack, including bacon and egg burgers for the owners and a sausage or beefhide treat courtesy of Pedigree for dogs.

The Maroochydore Lions volunteered to cook up the BBQ.
The first event has been hailed as a success and Karen is already planning the next Dog's Breakfast Fund Raiser. |
