As a motorist you can try:
- Letting traffic into the flow when they are trying pullout of a car park.
- Being patient when a newbie is trying to reverse par into one of the Burnett street parking spaces which are designed so you can drive in nose first.
- Not turning right over the double lines in Burnett Street. Simply drive up to the roundabouts and use them to turn around. It does not take very long!
- Be patient with older drivers, they have the right to be here too.
- Don't race through the crossings, especially the two without lights on Lindsay Road and Ballinger Road.
- Say "Thanks" to motorists who let you into the stream.
As a pedestrian you can try:
-Not darting blindly onto the zebra crossing.
- Hold the door for an older person
- Be aware and courteous to elderly users of mobility scooters
- If you ride a scooter, show courtesy and patience for others on the footpath.
